Billionaires’ Row developer lost this 432 Park home to foreclosure — someone just bought it for $50M

Ongoing lawsuits filed by 432 Park’s condo board allege chronic structural issues, ranging from cracks in the concrete facade to noisy trash chutes. The building’s sponsor has denied the allegations. The owners of this 25-foot-wide, three-story townhouse are Evan Stein and Jules Demchick, who built the development. The four-bedroom, 4½-bathroom pad is 4,090 square feet.

The deal, for more than $50 million, caps a saga that has captured the attention of the New York real-estate world. CIM Group is selling the two 78th floor units to a buyer who already owns an apartment in the Billionaires’ Row building, according to two people familiar with the situation. If it closes at that price, the deal will be one of priciest to sell in Manhattan in the past year.
