As the Senior Creative Producer, you’ll own, develop and manage key aspects of the development, production, and delivery of asynchronous videocontent such as short form digital courses, produced webinars, and more for our flagship membership product. The ideal candidate for this role is a filmmaker who loves thinking about how people acquire and implement new skills, and how to harness the power of video and downloadable assets to uplevel people’s skillsets. You’re someone who can quickly and easily absorb the knowledge of experts and use it to create concise, impactful learning experiences for our community.

This position is NYC based, with a hybrid work schedule, and reports to the Head of Content.

Salary Band: $130,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end creation of how-to style video courses for our clients in the business space.
  • Develop a process to identify topic and instructor selection.
  • Work with the manager of instructional design, subject matter experts, and instructors to craft outcome-based curriculums.
  • Work with the production and post-production team to develop a creative production plan to produce a regular cadence of courses, managing the entire process from preproduction, production, and post-production.
  • Develop educational and interesting assignments & learning tools to accompany lessons.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule from the start of development to the launch of an online class.
  • Work with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and product to ensure delivery of courses that meet target audience needs.
  • Manage external vendors/production houses to put together production teams for a regular cadence of course shoots.

About You:

  • 5+ years developing and executing world-class video-first content for target audience needs.
  • Experience producing in environments with multi-million-dollar annual production budgets.
  • Extensive experience producing short-form video and experience owning video projects from concept through delivery.
  • Track record of producing short-form video that is intimate, entertaining, and educational.
  • Strong storytelling ability: proven record of making complicated concepts accessible and engaging.
  • Solid project and people management skills. Ability to coordinate large teams and keep them on schedule.
  • Experience managing and running a production, including working with talent, efficiently and creatively.
  • Working knowledge of digital cinema cameras and lighting techniques; a sharp eye for what looks good on camera.
  • Strong collaborator with production and post-production teams, giving clear and actionable feedback on things like editorial flow, edit rhythm, music, color, GFX, and sound.
  • Proven people management and coaching skills.
  • Flawless organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and master of logistics. You foresee complications, make quick decisions, and troubleshoot on the fly.
  • Ability to learn, always improving yourself, and looking for innovative approaches.
