Luxury Properties In Greenpoint

Brooklyn’s northernmost neighborhood, Greenpoint is a quiet, oftentimes overlooked residential area that once served as an encampment for the British Army during the American Revolution. Its waterfront boasts stunning views of the East River and the Manhattan Skyline, and an influx of development has added boutique and high-rise condominium buildings to traditional townhouses and apartment buildings.

The Life

Greenpoint is attractive for a community-oriented, sleepy-town vibe atypical of classic city life. Much of the neighborhood’s residential population has Polish roots, and this is apparent in traditional eateries like Christina’s and Karczma. Manhattan Avenue, the neighborhood’s main strip of activity, boasts an impressive array of restaurants, bars, and shops that include Brooklyn legend, Peter Pan Donuts & Pastry Shop. Acme Smoked Fish has been around since the 1950s while Glasserie, a critically-acclaimed restaurant featuring a Mediterranean-inspired menu, has taken up residence in an old glass factory at the very edge of the borough. Bushwick Inlet, McCarren, and Msgr. McGolrick Parks have soccer fields, basketball courts, a track, and walking paths, and nearby Williamsburg is ideal for a fun night out.
