A Testament to Modern Elegance and Adaptive Reuse Architecture. The Library is a one-of-a-kind new development condominium nestled in the heart of the Lower East Side.

Designed to incorporate the original 1905 McKim, Mead & White structure that served as the downtown branch of the New York Public Library, the building façade consists of a pair of square Corinthian columns and an elegant entablature and parapet. With a contemporary glass crown, the building features 11 gorgeous homes in thoughtful 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts. Amenities include a private gym, a virtual doorman system, bicycle storage, and a furnished rooftop terrace with a grilling station.

Each home within The Library was designed to maximize space and natural light. Features include beautiful wide plank light oak floors, high ceilings, custom built-out closets, keyless entry doors, Bosch washers/dryers, bathrooms with heated floors and Toto toilets, and sleek kitchens equipped with natural stone countertops and backsplashes, custom walnut lower cabinets, matte lacquered upper cabinets, integrated InSinkErators, and high-end appliances from Wolf, Asko, and Sub-Zero. Many units have exposed brick walls and private outdoor space.

The Library is a collaboration between The Horizon Group, Isaac & Stern, and Brittany Marom Interior Design. The building is steps from dozens of trendy restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops, and a block away from Sara D. Roosevelt Park. Also close by are the East Village, The Bowery, NoLita, Little Italy, and NoHo. Nearby subway lines include the J/Z/E/F.
