She helped lead Ryan Serhant’s very first Brooklyn office and was the Managing Director of her previous firm’s Bed-Stuy location. Sara knew early on in her life that she had a passion for real estate. She started her professional career as an assistant to a real estate developer and investor in Queens and Brooklyn, where she gained extensive construction, management, and sales knowledge. She also spent five years as a closing manager in the lending industry, gaining valuable experience in mortgages and the home financing process. She went on to become an owner and partner in a real estate development office where she invested in projects and sold and managed their private portfolio.
Giving back is very important to Sara! She is involved in several charities and is on the Committee Board of the Bedford Stuyvesant Von King Park Conservancy. She has received several honors, including the 2019 Brownstoner RADD Award, StreetEasy Essys Community Champion Awards, a Women of Influence Award by Guyanese Girls Rock, and several Citations from the City of New York.
Sara is a mom of two teens and holds a degree in sociology from Queens College CUNY. Sara is passionate about food and travel and is an investor at Olmsted, a Michelin-rated restaurant in Prospect Heights. Most recently, she invested in a new travel start-up, KOALA, which is poised to be the Airbnb of the timeshare Industry. For relaxation, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and Pilates.
