Michael Morrello is a luxury real estate advisor and co-founder of Capital Coast Group at SERHANT., bringing over $250 million in lifetime residential sales and more than 300 homes closed across Virginia. With nearly a decade of builder-side experience, he offers a level of insight that extends far beyond traditional brokerage, guiding clients, developers, and investors through every phase of the real estate lifecycle with strategic clarity and design-driven perspective.
A graduate of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, Michael combines a foundation in real estate and entrepreneurship with a deep understanding of where lifestyle, capital, and community intersect. Prior to launching Capital Coast Group, he was a top-performing new construction sales advisor with a leading national builder, earning eight President’s Club honors, multiple NVBIA Outstanding Sales awards recognizing top performers across all major builders in Northern Virginia, and a reputation as one of the company’s most trusted voices on design, community development, and sales leadership. He navigated a product range from high volume communities to luxury estates designed by world-renowned Dutch architect Piet Boon.
Today, Michael specializes in advising along the Northern Virginia to Virginia Beach corridor, an emerging growth market fueled by migration, infrastructure, and new development. His approach is calm, consultative, and rooted in understanding each client’s long-term vision. He believes the relationship doesn’t end at closing. It begins there.
Michael splits his time between Northern Virginia and Virginia Beach, frequenting homes in Park City, Utah and Smith Mountain Lake, where he enjoys skiing, boating, watersports, biking, and designing homes and neighborhood concepts whenever he gets the chance. He shares all of it with his wife, Madeline, and their two rescue dogs, Joseph Beans and Scrappy.
