Maximus Kohr brings an entrepreneurial spirit, an international perspective, and a lifelong appreciation for land and architecture to his work at SERHANT.
Raised on his family’s third-generation working farm and historic estate in Pennsylvania, Maximus developed an early understanding of land stewardship, property, and the importance of place. His exposure to residential development through his father’s career in homebuilding further shaped his interest in real estate, particularly land, estates, and the creation of new communities.
With Panamanian roots through his mother and a family background in hospitality, Maximus grew up surrounded by different cultures and entrepreneurial influences. His early experiences working in his family’s ice cream business in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, introduced him to the value of hospitality, hard work, and building lasting relationships. After spending time living and studying in Italy, he founded La Strada Sandwicheria, an Italian-inspired culinary business in South Florida, combining his appreciation for food, culture, and entrepreneurship.
An avid traveler and lifelong athlete, Maximus has explored more than 30 countries. A former competitive swimmer who ranked third in Delaware during high school, he continues to challenge himself through triathlons, marathon running, and other endurance pursuits. His interests in art history, anthropology, and architecture reflect a broader curiosity about the people, cultures, and places that shape our world.
