Originally from Tennessee, Matthew Scott brings an appealing combination of enthusiasm, professionalism, and Southern charm to the New York City real estate scene. He is known for his honesty, in-depth market knowledge, and patience, and he prides himself on being responsive, thorough, and handling every interaction with the utmost integrity. Matthew’s path to real estate was fortuitous. Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he bought a one-way ticket to Los Angeles, California and never looked back. He spent time as a top salesman in the front office for the Los Angeles Clippers before being recruited by the Brooklyn Nets and moving to the East Coast. While working for both NBA teams, it just so happened that two of his favorite clients were also top-producing brokers. Working with them piqued his interest in real estate, and he eventually decided to transition fully.

Now an established presence in the industry, Matthew has continued to reach new heights and set multiple sales records. His tenacity and drive to go the extra mile stand out to everyone he works with. He loves the pace and energy of the industry, but what he most enjoys is nurturing relationships and being able to help people navigate one of the most significant decisions of their lives. His versatile clientele is made up of investors, luxury buyers, and sellers. Matthew specializes in Brooklyn, lower Manhattan, and Queens. He is also an excellent resource for relocation clients.

Outside of real estate, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family in their home in Brooklyn. He loves to travel and is a huge sports fan who follows football, tennis, baseball, and basketball. Matthew cannot live without music—his go-to artist is Stevie Wonder—and you’ll never see him without a classic luxury watch.
