Matthew Miller

Matthew Miller is a lifelong Long Island resident who brings a people-first approach to real estate, built on local knowledge, honest communication, and a genuine understanding of what is at stake for his clients.

Matthew earned his degree in psychology from SUNY Oneonta and brings more than a decade of customer service and management experience, along with a background in human resources, to his work in real estate. That experience shaped the way he communicates, understands different personalities, and stays level-headed when situations get stressful. He brings that same approach into every transaction, taking the time to understand not only what his clients are looking for, but what matters to them and why.

Whether working with a first-time buyer, a growing family, or a homeowner preparing for their next chapter, Matthew believes good real estate advice starts with listening and sometimes means saying what a client needs to hear, not simply what they want to hear.

Born and raised on Long Island's North Shore, Matthew's roots here run deep. He offers the kind of local perspective that comes from actually living in the communities he serves, with experience across single-family homes, condos, co-ops, and off-market opportunities.

Matthew also calls Southwest Florida home, with a strong connection to the Fort Myers area and an understanding of what draws so many New Yorkers to Florida's Gulf Coast. That connection allows him to serve clients locally in Southwest Florida while offering a valuable perspective to New Yorkers considering a second home there. Whether a client is making a move within either market or beginning to split their time between the two, Matthew brings the same honest guidance, local understanding, and relationship-first approach to both.

Matthew approaches negotiation with the same mindset he brings to his relationships: understand the people involved, identify what actually matters, and stay calm when the stakes get high. His goal is not simply to get a deal done. It is to help his clients make decisions they will still feel good about after the transaction is over.

Outside of real estate, Matthew is usually somewhere outdoors. He enjoys days spent on the water, beach days, spending time with friends and family, and getting outside with his two Labs. Whether he is on Long Island or in Southwest Florida, being near the water is a big part of what feels like home.

For Matthew, the closing table is not the end of the relationship. He wants to be the person his clients call before, during, and long after they move.

Real estate is personal. He treats it that way.
