She was born in Seoul, Korea, raised in Bellevue, Washington and later studied International Relations at Boston University and has been a New York apartment owner and investor for the past 30 years.

She is a New York City enthusiast and is involved in a variety of community activities in her Upper West Side community. Her passion for real estate was sparked early on by her father, a real estate developer on the West Coast.
