As the team leader of RealTrue® Home Team at SERHANT., Jean specializes in guiding both sellers and buyers through complex and high-value real estate decisions, especially luxury homes, lifestyle-driven moves, and military relocations in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and the surrounding Hampton Roads region. Known for her calm presence, clear communication, and structured approach, she helps clients feel confident and fully supported from start to finish.
Before launching her real estate career in 2014, Jean served the U.S. Navy community for over 17 years. She began her service as an enlisted sailor on active duty, later earning a commission as an officer in the Navy Reserves. She went on to serve as a civilian engineer and professor at the Naval Postgraduate School, where she taught systems engineering and led multi-agency defense projects. This experience shaped her into a process-driven advisor who brings both emotional intelligence and operational precision to every client relationship.
While Jean’s personal expertise is in luxury and complex transactions, RealTrue® Home Team supports buyers and sellers at all price points—delivering the same high-touch service, strategic guidance, and calm leadership the brand is known for. Every client receives a tailored experience built on trust, clear expectations, and smart decision-making.
Jean is also the principal broker of RealTrue® Property Management and the founder of RealTrue® Network, a Virginia-based referral brokerage connecting trusted agents and clients across the country. She holds both a B.S. and a Master of Engineering (M.E.) from Old Dominion University and has earned multiple advanced certifications, including CRS, CLHMS™, ABR®, and MRP. She has received the HRRA Circle of Excellence Award every year she has been in practice and ranks in the top 1% of agents in REIN MLS, which covers the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
Jean lives in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach with her husband Jeff, a 35-year retired U.S. Navy SEAL, and their amazing three boys—Nate, Colby, and Jake.
