Guillermo Freixas is a Miami real estate advisor, storyteller, and founder of MY BLOCK MIAMI, a platform dedicated to the people, places, and neighborhoods that make Miami unique.
A first-generation Cuban-American born and raised in Coral Gables, Guillermo has spent his life immersed in the communities he now serves. He specializes in luxury residential real estate throughout Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Miami, and the surrounding urban core, with particular expertise in waterfront neighborhoods such as Sunrise Harbour and the Bayfront corridor.
Licensed since 2014, Guillermo has participated in more than 200 residential transactions ranging from $2M+ to $20M+. His practice is built on a combination of data-driven analysis, strategic marketing, and hyperlocal knowledge—helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate Miami's evolving real estate market with clarity and confidence.
Known for his deep understanding of neighborhood dynamics, Guillermo believes that real estate is about far more than square footage or comparable sales. Architecture, schools, zoning, walkability, infrastructure, and community character all influence long-term value. His approach helps clients make informed decisions not only about a property, but about the area itself.
That philosophy became the foundation for MY BLOCK, a media platform and neighborhood brand created to document the stories, businesses, history, and culture that define Miami. Through original content, market insights, neighborhood guides, and local storytelling, Guillermo has built a trusted voice for those seeking a deeper understanding of the city and its ever-changing landscape.
Before entering real estate, Guillermo built his career in luxury media, marketing, and South Florida development. He began in New York City with Niche Media under founder Jason Binn, contributing to iconic lifestyle publications including Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential and Hamptons Magazine. After returning to Miami, he worked in public relations and marketing on behalf of some of South Florida's most notable developments, collaborating on projects associated with The Related Group, including Icon Brickell, Icon South Beach, and 50 Biscayne. This early exposure to branding, development, and luxury marketing continues to shape his approach to real estate today.
Few advisors understand Miami from as many vantage points as Guillermo—having worked in luxury media, real estate marketing, and brokerage while documenting the neighborhoods that define the city. Clients benefit from institutional-level marketing, compelling storytelling, and a strategic approach to positioning properties in an increasingly digital marketplace.
Guillermo's mission is simple: to help clients navigate Miami's growth while preserving and celebrating the character that makes each neighborhood special. Through MY BLOCK, he seeks to connect people not just to homes, but to communities.
When he isn't advising clients, Guillermo can often be found exploring Coconut Grove by golf cart, supporting local businesses, documenting Miami's changing neighborhoods, or spending time with his family in Sunrise Harbour.
