Ben has been a Realtor® in Rhode Island since 2011, and has now joined Serhant Rhode Island. Having grown up on the island of Jamestown, it provides him with extensive knowledge of this beautiful area. After receiving a BA in Economics from Hamilton College and a certificate from the London School of Economics, he moved to Boston to work in securities lending, but succumbed to the desire to be back on the island in 2005. Upon returning to Jamestown, he worked closely with Realtors for 6 years as a Location Scout for Television and Film productions in the area. Photography has always been a passion, and he opened his own gallery in Jamestown and then Wickford. Bringing his knowledge of lighting, and composition helps showcase the best qualities of the homes he sells. His competitive side also helps during negotiations as well - having played soccer in college at Hamilton and basketball in London for the school teams. Ben knows how to work with a team, but also what it takes to get the job done. He has previously served on tthe Board of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce as the Secretary, and on the Jamestown Library Finance Committee. In 2021, Ben was able to raise over $53,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in their annual ‘Man of the Year ‘competition. His team came in a close 2nd place and it remains one of the most rewarding times of his life. Ben lives in Jamestown with his wife, Hilary, and son, Whit. His adoration and love for the area is what drives him to want to share its charm and value as he matches people with their dream home.
