THE ASK: In Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, a 19th-century townhouse is going on the market for $38 million, making it one of the most expensive homes for sale in Massachusetts, according to listing agent Antonio Khoury with Serhant. THE SELLER: The owner is Kenneth Schiciano, a senior adviser at TA Associates, a Boston-based private-equity firm, and his wife, Pixley Schiciano. They bought the property in 2013 for $14 million and spent about two years renovating it, Kenneth said.
